There is nothing to sign up for. Files come in through Android's own picker, so the app only ever sees what you hand it.

Each quality is measured on pages from across your document, so the estimate is what you actually get. Pages are never enlarged, a setting that would not really help is never offered, and if the result is not meaningfully smaller your original stays exactly as it was.

One thing we will be straight about
Because nothing is uploaded, your documents exist only on this phone. Uninstalling the app, resetting the phone or losing it deletes them, and there is no copy anywhere for us to restore. Use Export every document in Settings to keep a backup of anything you would be sorry to lose.
